Pieris rapae (L.) (Lepidoptera: Pieridae)’nin Erkek Üreme Sisteminin Anatomik-Histolojik Yapısı

AMAÇ: Bu çalışmada ergin Pieris rapae ’nin erkek üreme sistemi anatomik ve histolojik olarak
incelenmiştir.
YÖNTEMLER: Gözlemler ışık mikroskobu ile yapılmıştır. Histolojik çalışmalar parafinli gömme ortamındaki numunelerden 8μm’lik kesitler alınarak mikroskop altında yapılmıştır.
BULGULAR: Erkek P. rapae ’ n i n
üreme sistemi: lopsuz bir testis, bir çift vas deferens, bir çift vesikula seminalis, bir çift yardımcı bez, çift ejekülatör kanal, tek ejekülatör kanal ve kutikular simpleksten meydana gelmiş olup bu kısımlar anatomik olarak gözlenmiştir. P. rapae ’ de testisin folikülleri anatomik olarak ayırt edilemez.
SONUÇ: Spermatogenezin çeşitli gelişme safhaları, vesikula seminalis ve ejekülatör kanal histolojik olarak gözlenmiştir.

The Anatomical And Histological Structure Of The Male Reproductive System Of Pieris rapae (L.) (Lepidoptera: Pieridae)

OBJECTIVE: In this study has examined the male internal reproductive system of adult Pieris rapae
anatomically and histologically.
METHODS: Observations have been made by means of light microscope taking 8μm crosssections from samples in the paraffined embedding medium for the histological examination.
RESULTS: The internal reproductive system of the male P. rapae consists of the following: a testis without lobe, a pair of vas deferens, a pair of vesicula seminalis, a pair of accessory glands, a pair of ejaculatory ducts, an ejaculator duct and cuticular simplex. These structures had been observed anatomically. The follicles in the testis cannot be distinguished anatomically.
CONCLUSION: Various developmental phases of the spermatogenesis have been observed in the testis and ejaculator canal.
